Is your other car a UFO? Funny LED sign for your car reads Keep Calm And Take ME To Your Leader and has a picture of a retro atomic age flying saucer instead of the usual crown. Just because you're an Alien from another solar system doesn't mean you aren't friendly. While you drive your terrestrial vehicle around earth show the humans that you are an extraterrestrial that comes in peace.
Sometimes when I create designs I like to use fractal and generative art software. With such programs you never know exactly what you're going to get, often you don't even remotely know. Box of chocolates anyone? The programs have many settings and parameters to adjust and it can be like blindly throwing paint at a canvas. Sometimes something nice will quickly show up on the screen but often you can spend hours or days to get something worthy of offering your customers. I don't want to try and hawk every half interesting squiggle that shows itself. This design is one one that came from time, patience and a sore back in front of the monitor. For me it's like a treasure hunt and it was well worth it. I had found something that looks like an Art Nouveau style Sun in shades of lavender, pink and purple.
For these monogrammed Art Deco fleece blankets I went with a Dieselpunk style motif. The initials are framed in the center and flanked on each side by the first and last names. The text on each blanket is a template and can be replaced by names and monograms of your choosing. I got a little carried away with this retro modern style so you have more to pick from.
I envision buildings at night in beautiful shades of blue in this geometric abstract pattern. In the squares and rectangles I imagine windows, doors and balconies of apartments or offices. What do you see in this design? Even if you see something different this abstract throw pillow will make a gorgeous addition to your home decor.
This groovy retro pattern has gradient shades of green including chartreuse, lime and yellow green. The design is a blend of old and new that overlaps eras. A Mid Century Modern feel from the 50s and 60s moving to he funky style of the 60s and 70s and yet still fresh enough for today.
Mid Century Modern style geometric abstract pattern of trapezoids and stripe in shades of pastel green for your retro and modern decor. Retro Mid Century Modern design is my favorite. To me it's nostalgic and peaceful when I look at it, which I can do all day :).
This colorful modern abstract design was created from a digitally manipulated photograph of a stained glass window. The colors used are mostly blue with some yellow, red and green separated by nearly black lines.
Our newest fabric was designed for lovers of the 60's and 70's. Retro fabric printed with a colorful tie dye pattern. To give you an idea how this pattern will look on your project I've included Swatch, Fat Quarter and In Situ views. Tie dye has a nice color gradient that is similar to Ombré. While great for dresses this pattern would also make a far out Tapestry or cool door curtain.

This is a continuation of last weeks Music Monday. In the Song New Frontier Donald Fagen mentions Jazz pianist Dave Brubeck. Take Five was written by his long-time musical partner, alto saxophonist Paul Desmond. The Dave Brubeck Quartet was formed in 1951 following a near-fatal swimming accident which incapacitated Brubeck for several months.
"Written by Berry Gordy, Gwendolyn Gordy (Berry's sister) and Roquel Billy Davis, going under the pseudonym Tyran Carlo, the single, alongside Wilson's debuting five consecutive singles between 1957–58, turned Wilson into an R&B superstar and influenced the later careers of Davis, who joined the staff of Chess Records while Gordy used the money from the song's success to form Motown Records within a year."
